Just got out of the Gator Band Sugar Bowl Trip meeting. And besides my Christmas break being cut short by about a week, the trip should be amazing!
From the itinerary we were given today, we have to be back in Gainesville on the 29th, and we’re leaving the next morning for New Orleans. Our hotel is the Hilton Riverside Resort, only 3 blocks away from the French Quarter. By the looks of it, we should get plenty of free time to explore the area for the first two days we’re there, which should be extremely exciting on New Year’s Eve….
The day of the game, January 1st, will be spent entirely at the Superdome from about 10 AM to midnight. Apparently our seats are horrible, but whatever. I’m at the Sugar Bowl for free.
We’ll be back in Gainesville pretty late on January 2nd. Just in time for school to begin 3 days later. Looking forward to it!
